The Church of God in the United States comprises of about 2,500 congregations and approximately 300,000 persons who attend services at those congregations. We believe in Jesus Christ as our only Saviour and in the experience of God working in our lives to forgive and redeem us and we confess our sins and accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. The reason the name "CHURCH OF GOD" is used for our church is because it is biblical. What better place from which to retreive a name for a group who worships God. More than a dozen other denominations use the name "CHURCH OF GOD". Our particular church has home offices in Anderson, Indiana. We make no claim to the exclusive use of the biblical name. One becomes a member of our church by attending our services on a regular basis and by acknowleging Jesus Christ as Saviour. We are rooted in Wesleyan-Arminian evangelicalism.
