Where I Am, Where I’ve Been, Where I’m Going

It was not too long ago, I had a job I took pleasure in, worked with people I liked, made a livable income, had a church I enjoyed attending. I worked with youth that I loved in a town I had learned to enjoy. In a sense, I was comfortable. The problem is and continues to be that God never called us to be comfortable, and I was comfortable.

Why are you here?

As the title suggests, this is a question we should all ask ourselves from time to time. Why am I here? The direction you take this question has multiple different possibilities. Why am I here on this planet, in this town, in this relationship, in this church? These are all valid questions but the one we are most interested in is, why are you here in this service? Why do you come to church on Sunday morning? What makes you continue coming back?
