WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

You are missing a great Bible study and time of fellowship if you are not coming Wed evening to the Adult Bible Study class. Pastor Rick is leading us thru the book of Joshua – We have crossed the Jordan River and are beginning to conquer the land God has led us into. |
CHURCH IN THE PARK
Church in the Park will be Aug. 26th at Roy Raley Park at 10:30 am. with BBQ to follow. We are to bring chips and desserts to share. Also, don’t forget your lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. We will be joining Cornerstone Community Church and the Salvation Army for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowhip.
POTLUCK |
There will be a potluck at Jim and Patsy Phelps, the last Sunday of the month Aug 26 at 5 pm. Come share in a great time of fellowship and oh, yes, the best food! |
BACK TO SCHOOL |
Rememeber to bring items for Back to School backpacks– for the shelter for battered women at the YMCA in Walla Walla. And thank you for anything you can donate.

MISSIONS TRIP
We will be having an informational meeting about our next Mission Trip on Wednesday, August 22nd in the Parlor at 7:55 pm.
Adult Bible studies will be let out a few minutes early. If you are
interested in learning about our next mission come and join our meeting.
All are welcome and encourage to come.

BAND OF BROTHERS
What an awesome opportunity for our men who are attending the Wild at Heart Boot Camp. They left Aug. 16 and will be returning this evening. Those who went are Allen Waggoner, Robert Pahl, Chuck Cook, Jerod Ward, Tom Demianew, Jim Phelps, Rod Parker, Marty Campbell, and Kevin Porter. Remember to keep them in your prayers – that God is filling them to overflowing so they can return refreshed and filled with God’s Spirit and Love.

CIRCLE OF SISTERS
Circle of Sisters will not be meeting again until after Round-Up. But we do need to remember to pray for each other during this very busy time – Round-Up, Back to School, and last vacations for the summer.
YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Pool Party – Sat. Aug 25th at the Moore’s home.
Meet at the church at 11:30 am. and return to
church at 5:15 pm. Lunch will be provided.
Cost: FREE.

We need you to sign up for our booth at Round-Up.
The money will be used for camp and other youth activities. Check with Pastor Joseph and let him
know when you can help!!
