Fund raising event to earn monies for the mission group going to Costa Rica during Spring break has begun. BUY your ANGEL SOFT toilet paper for $40 per case or fifty cents a roll. Help meet expenses of this very worthwhile endeavor. Get your TP today! Contact anyone going on the trip or call the church office to arrange for your purchase. Free delivery available (Pendleton only) with purchase of one or more cases.
Everyone who is going on the mission trip to Costa Rica needs a passport. You can get your passport picture taken at 60 minute photo or at the post office. Application forms are also available at the post office.
Spaghetti Feed
Thursday January 19th at McKay School Cafeteria.. Proceeds to help send our people to Costa Rica. Cost is just $6 per person.. entertainment by Marty Campbell. Be sure to invite friends, co-workers and neighbors.
Wednesday Night Dinners
Wednesday night dinners begin at 6 p.m. We need interested persons to help serve. There is a sign-up sheet in the church entryway. Remember dinner is only $1.00. Come and join the fellowship!
Pray for the troops
Please remember to pray for the thousands of men and women who daily risk their lives as they serve our nation in the military. Also pray for the families waiting for their soldiers to return home. Help keep them safe and in good spirits.
Reading Material
In the foyer at church you will find all kinds of free reading material. Included are: Focus on the Family Magazine, New Man, Today's Christian (similar to Reader's Digest) and several devotionals such as, Quiet Walk, Close Walk, Family Walk, Daily Walk, and Tapestry. Please take advantage of these free materials.
Ladies Bible Study
The ladies Bible study group "CAPTIVATING" will be meeting again beginning Sunday January 8th at 6:30 in the Parlour.
Help with Cookies
We are low on cookies to send out with our "Cookie Calls". Cookie calls are an important part of our ministry. We send out a welcoming letter and a plate of homemade cookies to every newcomer. It's just a friendly way of saying, "Welcome".
Band of Brothers
Band of Brothers next meeting will be Tuesday, January 10th (Location will be announced). Allen Waggoner is the Facilitator and Robert Pahl is the Host Coordinator. Calvin Ashbeck is the Refreshment Coordinator. All men are invited to join us in our study of: "Everyman's Battle".
Your niche in our family
Have you helped teach a Sunday School class or a Wednesday night class? Thought of cooking or cleaning after a mid-week meal? If you have not served before, don't stand on the sidelines. A blessing will be had by joining in and getting involved. Be a part of a great big wonderful family!
Youth New Year's Party
All youth, grades 6-12, are invited to a New Year's Day Party. It will be held at the church beginning at 8 p.m. January 1 and concluding at 8 a.m. on January 2. Bring your sleeping bag and PJs. Bring your favorite munchies to share. Drinks will be provided. Come celebrate the new year.

Our church family has been invited to Lynn Allen's wedding. It will be in Salem, Oregon at the Oak Park Church of God on February 4 at 1:30 p.m. There is an invitation posted on the bulletin board at church.
