Ramsey's Financial Peace University If you are planning on taking the class and did not attend the first orientation, you must attend the orientation on Wednesday January 3rd at 7 p.m. The first class for Financial Peace University wil be Wednesday January 10th at 6 p.m. We will be getting our dinner and watching the video from 6 - 7 p.m. Discussion time will be from 7 - 8 p.m. If you have questions contact Allen Waggoner 443-3043 or Robert Pahl 276-7115 |
NEW WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY Beginning in January, Sunday morning Women's Bible study will read the Bible through in a year. We will meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the week's readings and what God has shown you through these scriptures. Contact Teri Ward or Becky Waggoner if you would like to join this group so they can put together a study guide for you. |

MONEY GOD'S WAY This is a class for 3rd through 5th graders. It will begin in January on Wednesday nights. PARENTS of youth: You will soon receive an invitation to spend an evening with the youth. You will experience what is involved within our youth ministry and find out some upcoming activities. |

Email Starbucks: Many of you may have noticed the cables and posts blocking off the parking lot between Starbucks and the church. Previous owners of the Starbucks building, Arby's and before that Skippers, were very cooperative in sharing the use of the parking lots. They paid rent on the use of our lot, so as to cover the wear and tear as well as damage to asphalt and curbs. When Starbucks came in, the corporation said "no" it would not pay any rent. At one point they changed their minds and were going to pay the rent, but changed their minds again and said "no". That is why our church council made the decision to block the area off and not allow the use of our land for their business. Your voice can count. Webmasters of this newsletter are recommending that you express your desire for Starbucks to negotiate with our church for the use of the parking area. Email them and let them know. We also recommend not patronizing them until or unless they determine to deal with us.
