Wednesday  night dinners begin at 6 p.m.  If you are interested in helping in the kitchen, please contact Patsy Phelps.  Where else can you get a full meal for only $1.00.  Come join us.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY


"Captivating":   meets Sunday evenings at 6:30 in the church parlor.  Studying chapters from study book.  It's never too late to join this group.
"WOW" (Women of Worth):  Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the church library.  Weight in, do inspirational readings, journaling and give and receive input on weight loss suggestions. Hope to see you there.


GRAD NIGHT

Our traditional Senior Grad Banquet is scheduled for Sunday May 21st. We will be honoring several high school graduates with dinner, special video presentation and gifts, as well as briefly hear from grad parents. Everyone is invited to attend but you must RSVP to the church office with your reservation. Family and friends of grads are welcome as well as members of our church family. This is a special time in the lives of our students and we hope you can join them.

LIFE IS PRECIOUS

"Life is Precious" is the theme for the 7th annual walk for life. This walk will be Saturday, May 27th. It will be a fun family event that will allow everyone to show their support for the Pregnancy Care Services. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. that morning and the walking starts at 10:00 a.m. at the train station park (Main and Frazer) near the Chamber of Commerce. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles, going down Court Ave to SW 10th and returning to the park. There will be music, festivities, raffle items, prizes, and lunch for the walkers. If you are interested there are sign up sheets in the church office or you can call the Pregnancy Care Services at 276-5757.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

National Day of Prayer will be observed on Thursday May 4th from 12- 12:30 at the flag pole at City Hall. There will be guided and individual prayer. Hope you can come!

Men's Retreat is at Corporation Guard Station and tentatively set for June 23-25.




CENTURY RIDE

Ride of the Centuries is in beautiful Eastern Oregon this year. Three days of support for your riding addiction. Grab your bicycle and come join the POW (Pendleton on Wheels Bicycle Club). This event will take place on Memorial Day weekend, beginning on Friday May 26th. They are expecting 200-250 riders from all over the northwest.
