MOTHERS DAY Mother’s Day will be observed on Sunday, May 13 th. During our morning worship service we will be honoring the women in our lives. We hope you can bring a special woman in your life to church on that day. Gifts will be presented to each of them! |

LADIES BIBLE STUDY Circle of Sisters, studying "Pathways to Purpose": meets Sunday evenings at 6:30 in the church parlor. It's never too late to join this group. 15TH BIRTHDAY - EMBRACE LIFE Embrace Life with Pregnancy Care Services “Walk for Life” on May 19 th. This is an opportunity for Christians from different Churches and denominations in our community to come together with one heart and one voice to bear witness that we are all made in the image of God. GRAD NIGHT Our traditional Senior Grad Banquet is scheduled for Sunday May 20th.. We will be honoring several high school graduates with dinner, special video presentation and gifts, as well as briefly hear from grad parents. Everyone is invited to attend but you must RSVP to the church office with your reservation. Family and friends of grads are welcome as well as members of our church family. This is a special time in the lives of our students and we hope you can join them. |

LADIES RETREAT TO ALL LADIES OF FIRST CHURCH OF GOD: We are excited to announce we have scheduled a Women’s Retreat for May 18-20, 2007. Reserve this weekend for a wonderful time with your fellow sisters in Christ. Kris Grimm (licensed Pathway to Purpose coach) will lead us in a wonderful, intensive weekend designed to help us find our purpose and grow close to each other at the same time. BUSINESS MEETING REGARDING MUSIC MINISTER We will be having an Informational Meeting on Wednesday, May 2 nd @ 7pm to discuss any questions about the proposal to amend the budget for the Worship Pastor position. On the following Sunday, May 6 th we will be having a Special Business Meeting to vote on this amendment. The meeting will be after our second morning worship service. If you are unable to attend the Special Business Meeting you may request an absentee ballot in writing. Absentee ballots are available in the church office. |
